"How long will it take?" is the question asked at almost every first consultation, and it deserves a straight answer. The straight answer is that nobody can honestly give you a fixed number of weeks or months in advance — and any clinic that does is making a promise it cannot keep.
That is not evasion. This article explains why timelines vary so much, what actually decides the length of treatment, and — more usefully — how you and your doctor can judge along the way whether treatment is on the right track.
Homoeopathic prescribing is individualised. Two people with the same diagnosis may receive different prescriptions, because what separates them is the detail of their symptoms, general health and history. For the same reason, they may respond at different speeds. A timeline quoted before the case has even been taken is a guess dressed up as a fact.

After the first consultation, follow-ups are scheduled at intervals suited to the condition. Keeping a short diary between visits helps a great deal: dates of flares, what seemed to trigger them, and how you felt overall. It turns a vague "a bit better, I think" into something both of you can act on.
